Brief(Who we are looking for):

We are looking for real mothers who have lost a child in a road accident to share their stories. This is a paid opportunity if you get selected for the shoot.

We understand that talking about this topic can be incredibly difficult. We are looking for real mothers, of any age or race, who have lost a child to a road accident, regardless of the circumstances, to be part of a meaningful public service announcement for the Western Cape Government.

Every son and daughter carries a voice inside them; the voice of their mother.

This campaign seeks to honour and remember young lives lost to road accidents in the Western Cape through the voices of the women who loved them most.

We will share their stories with dignity and respect, not to place blame, but to remind every driver that every person on the road is someone’s child.

Our message is simple: “If not for you, do it for them.”

No matter whether they were the victim or the perpetrator; Hulle was steeds hulle ma’s se kinders. This is a chance to tell real, powerful stories that can help prevent future tragedies and encourage responsible driving across our province.

This is not an acting role. We are not looking for performers, but for real stories told by real mothers. We will treat every participant’s story with care, respect, and compassion.
